Now you're in my way

Wow. Bad day. In fact, not to be too negative, a terrible day. I had nightmares all night (and bloody real ones too...) therefore I had no sleep, woke up with bad thoughts and I haven't stop thinking about the nightmares all day. I feel so horrible.

Please, stay out of my dreams tonight. I beg you.

My lovely outfit. If only I had good legs!

Also, I am in a performance of Animal Farm tomorrow, which I'm fretting about. I hate the fact I have to be an animal and I hate the fact that it's tomorrow and we have yet to do a full run-through (would you believe it). The joys of having an unorganised director and drama school. I prefer to be organised, on-top of things and excited for a performance, other wise my anxiety levels are awful. Yay.

On a positive note...
I went shopping, bought a beautiful pair of shoes from River Island, visited the Disney shop (which always cheers me up), started making my friends birthday present & had a wonderful dinner with my best friend Sophie (who never ever fails to make me feel better). But this was at the weekend. So since then, things have gone a little down hill...

My lovely new shoes from River Island. I'm thinking they'll go beautifully with my leopard print 3/4 length dress!

Me (Ariel) and Sophie (Belle) at the Disney store. These dolls are on my wish list for sure!

Anyway, I hope tomorrow brings a better day. I need some good sleep, if anyone had wonderful sleeping advise I'd sure appreciate it!

Night all

MET Ball fashion 2012 part one

I'm all about fashion, red carpet events and celebrity sightings. So I always look forward to the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art!! The celebrities and fashion designers go all out, wearing daring dresses, fabulous head pieces and show stopping shoes. I die (in the words of Rachel Zoe).

I am absolutely in love with Emma Stone. Not only is she a fellow red head (holla!) she is wearing red! Which to my surprise looks fabulous on her! I always think I definitely can not get away with red, but she has which makes me second guess my judgement here. Then again it is Emma Stone and I am not quite Emma Stone. So maybe not?! But anyway...this Lanvin red dress is to die for. Short and sweet. Girly yet strong and eye-catching. Beautiful Emma! Definitely Cinderella worthy.

Great photo of the incredible Emma Stone wearing Lanvin

For someone who usually adores the style Alexa Chung rocks, I was throughly disappointed by her dress. It looked wrong with the white shirt underneath. When I saw her Twitter photo I thought maybe the shirt was under for some 'getting ready' reason, but I was sadly wrong. Hair looks beautiful, as does her make-up...flawless as always. If the dress did not have the shirt under, I'd probably be a fan. But no, the shirt is not working for me Alexa. Sorry!

Unsure about the white shirt Miss Chung.

Now Camilla Belle however...her dress = WOW. Her make-up = DIVINE. And her hair = ROMANCE.
I just think she blew the onlookers away. Breathtaking. I literally don't have a bad word about this look. Every little detail including the colours of the lips to the delicate earrings and the shimmery nails. Just 'mmm'. WINNER in my eyes.

Camilla Belle looking phenomenal.

Camilla Belle you win the Cinderella award.

I WANT Jessica Stams' dress right now. I'd die for that dress, it's (I want to swear I'm that excited) amazing. BUT if I'm completely honest, whoever styled her did her make-up, hair and jewellery all wrong (in my opinion anyway!). I think with that amount of bracelets she does not need earrings. So take the earrings off! Cool, quirky bracelet overload (that I appreciate) but then her make-up-well mainly her eyes-look like she's been hit. She just looks very rough in the face if I'm honest! Plus I'm not keen on the hair. It's too dark and looks quite violent for this stunning, beautiful, decorative (YES I LOVE IT!) dress! It's a John Galliano for Christian Dior Haute Couture dress. And I want it.

Jessica, loving the dress, hating the look.

I will post my favourite looks next.

Who killed you with their red carpet look?

(use a condom!)

My new crop top from H&M for the Fashion Against AIDS range (love).

You should check out the H&M Fashion Against AIDS range as it's truly amazing. Plus 25% of the money is donated towards HIV/AIDS education and prevention projects. So it's fashion that makes you feel like you're doing something good too! Winner.

I think I want to marry you

From being bed bound due to the flu to attending a magical wedding this weekend - I feel I've literally done it all! And right now my body is definitely feeling the affects. I'm tired, slightly emotional and feel very sluggish. I will sleep extremely well tonight, although I have a lot to think about. So maybe not?

Anyway, I've had my hair done which was in desperate need of a cut. Even after having two inches off the load, everyone still says how long it is! It was weird actually, I was thinking about my hair when getting it done and I figured all the things I hated about myself as a child are now the only things I actually like about myself: ginger hair, thick hair and long hair. Nightmare growing up - knots, bullying and attempting to dry it took what seemed like forever...now I'm ginger and proud and really thank god about the fact I have lots of hair!!

The wedding I went to was absolutely wonderful. Just made me all excited for planning mine. Although I yet to have a man in my life, nor do I think I'm ready for marriage, but still...I'm only a girl, I get excited about these things!

Wearing all Zara, including shoes. A peace bracelet from Topshop and my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet.

I fell in love with my outfit when I spotted the pieces from Zara this week! The peach feathered skirt is so much fun and very fitting with the pastel colours in right now! The shoes are black suede, Zara Basics - amazing! Cheap but so so beautiful and comfortable too! Really love getting dressed up for events, and this event was so brilliant, it made it even more worth it! I know I wasn't the one getting married, but still, I felt like a princess for the day. Happy days.

My Mum and I having the time of our lives in the photo booth at the wedding!

They had a photo booth at the evening party which was held by EventBooths.co.uk which I'd recommend to anyone having a party or a wedding because it is just so much fun and you get photos that you'll remember and be able to laugh at forever! The photos are hilarious, especially after a few too many vinos...!

I have so much on my mind right now that I need some sort of weekly plan. If I don't plan I will feel very unsteady. I know that decision making is not my forte, I wish I could employ someone to make  my decisions for me...oh and to do my hair daily! I think that would solve all my problems.

Hope you all enjoyed your week!
