So I went away & now I'm back

Hello,

Sorry it's been so long, life had me all caught up & I think I gave up a little bit. Shame really as I want this blog to go places so I should really pull my socks up & give time to it. I am going to promise to myself right here right now to blog as often as possible and to make it amazing. Who wants anything less than amazing!?

So what's been going on with me since last blog post:
SO MUCH.

I have moved in with my long term boyfriend, the one I met at Uni, fell head over heels for & is now the love of my life.

I couldn't be happier with my situation. Tom & I are happy, like fairytale happy. Apart from a few normal hiccups, we're over-the-moon-reach-for-the-stars kind of happy!

I got an assistant manager job at my long standing (well 2 years) job in retail. Ok, so it's nothing special & it isn't my career, but everyone's got to start somewhere hey?! It pays the bills & I love what I sell. And for those of you ever feeling down about your situation, do what I'm doing now and promise yourself it's just a stepping stone to something even better. Be proud of where you are now and be determined to get where you want to be.

I'm 24, feeling quite 'grown up' and mature, turning 25 this year. Half of 50. WOW. Is it time for babies yet!? (hehe)

A few more members of the family have been born (nieces x3, nephew x1) and one more on the way. A couple more weddings including one this Halloween and one next summer. Some trips, travels, festivals and adventures been had and more to come.

Me & my beautiful cuz at a Yoga loving hippie festival Summer 2014

I will be blogging about my recent trips to Scotland & Bruges, along with loads more. So watch this space!!

It's Simple Darling

So, it's been a while since I've blogged. But I'm back. So less of the worrying ;)
I am proud to say I am now a qualified Personal Trainer, Zumba Instructor and Fitness Professional. And I had my first ever job interview the other day, in fact I had two, and I can not believe I am saying this, but I got both jobs!! So the choice is mine. W-O-W. Not only are they wonderful job offers for my first job, and a fantastic place to start my career, the location is a dream as the job is in Covent Garden!

Celebrate your successes with parties, wine and lots and lots of laughter

As I have not blogged in a long time, I decided to take a look at my older posts, and strangely enough one of my first posts called 'No.4' told about what I would love to do before I die. Slightly morbid I know. But then again, to look at it now, it's quite nice to know I am able to put a tick by some of those things! I had written:

To have been to drama school, kept a blog going, fall in love, have children, get married, work with incredible directors, be silly, learn from my mistakes, buy a house, decorate it (many a times), eat without a care in the world, improve my singing, become the best dancer I can be, watch more films, work with robert pattinson (have sex with robert pattinson), be in Spring Awakening, eat meat again, make more friends, travel the world, find inner peace...The list is endless, I promise.

Ok, I have not had children, gotten married or had sex with Robert Pattinson BUT...

I now eat meat
My blog, although had a little break, is still going
I have fallen in love, been in a relationship for 8 months now and life is good
I watch more films, laugh more and I can say I have learnt from some of my mistakes

So all in all, I am achieving my life long dreams slowly but surely. As some things have changed, I am going to write a new one.

things to be stupidly happy about:
doing a zumba class in the dark with disco lights
having a dinner party & sleepover with my best girlfriends
having sushi & frozen yogurt in one day
waking up in a silly mood
knowing that every things going to be alright
having a plan
drinking hot chocolate in bed with rich teas and 50 Shades of Grey in hand
heated blankets when your tummy is going through girlie issues
films like Mamma Mia begin shown on tv
flat doughnut peaches
being on antibiotics that are actually working
not wearing make-up all the time
singing Naughty from Matilda the Musical
walking with mummy & her besties hearing their wonderful life advice
getting a hair appointment with a hairdresser I actually like & trust

Oh my gosh, the list could go on.
Seriously this week has been stupidly positive and exciting, and it's only Tuesday! I have done so much already, and feel as though I am beginning to achieve a lot and getting myself on the right path for both right now and for the future. I know it seems as though such little things shouldn't quite excite me so much, but right now, anything that puts a smile on my face I am being very appreciative of, because, well, why the hell not!?

What's putting a smile on your beautiful face right now?

Saturday is my day

Saturday is coming to a close and although I have literally done nothing today, I feel as though I've achieved a lot. Plus I have enjoyed my nothing-ness day! It's as if I really needed a day like today. My head feels clear, my room is clean, I am happy and I know I'll have lots of lovely sleep tonight!

Today, as I said, hasn't been filled with lots of major plans - however I seem to have done a few bits and bobs and just made it a very leisurely saturday. It has indeed been wonderful.

I popped to do my food shop and picked up some others bits and bobs to keep me entertained today!

Oh the colours are too pretty!

I chose 208 PAPARAZZI for my girlie mood

Then I went wild and added some sparkles...I think I'm still a 6 year old girl!

I had my performances of Animal Farm yesterday, which to my very surprise, actually went ok! I admittedly did not enjoy the whole process of being in that play, however, the performances were fun and the audience appeared to enjoy themselves. It wasn't the best show of the week, I know that! However, to have made everyone laugh and knowing everyone in that audience smiled that evening because of us - well that's enough for me! It's over now anyway and I am very happy to say that for my last project at East 15 Acting school I have been picked by the brilliant director Hamish Gray (who has recently been in Salmon Fishing In The Yemen) to be in I Remember Mama by John Van Druten! Plus I am working with my best friends on it as we were all picked by him (privileged!). This news has made my weekend!

I bought this bubble bath purely because of this little quote on the bottle! (I love it!) Oh, and it smells divine.

I made a yummy smoked salmon dinner mmm

This song is amazing to put on when meditating & relaxing

I did a short amount of yoga & meditation to get me sleepy before bed

And now Saturday is over and I'm in bed watching Friends. The little things are what count...do something every day to make yourself smile. It makes a world of difference!

And now I'm watching Friends in bed with a Vanilla tea!

I hope everyone has had a relaxing saturday too.

Night night sweet dreams!

Don't know how

Yes, I did. And for a while wonderland is definitely the best place to be. Key word 'while'. Not forever. However, if I had the key to go back to wonderland, I would.

What's your Wonderland?

found this song tonight...I'm obviously obsessed with it already!

Easy, yeah right!

This is where I need to go right now...I read that almost 80% of illnesses and bad health you have is down to stress

So, as you may not know much about me...I thought I'd fill you in. I love anything inspirational, dream-like, beautiful and old-fashioned. I like to be around people, have a busy schedule and dance as much as possible (even if it may just be in my room!). Films, music and theatre are what keep me very much sane...as I said, I get bored easily so enjoy a busy schedule. Don't get me wrong, I love my winding down time. I enjoy a bubble bath, an early night and a good long sleep, but still, it's usually only truly enjoyed if my life has been hectic! Which at this very moment, it definitely is not. So I'm bored, a little frustrated and I end up being very lazy (which I hate!). Laziness- what an ugly word! And let me tell you something, laziness definitely is making me appear ugly. I have (for some reason or another) just got a skin infection...on my face. Lucky me! Plus my laziness is reflecting my body. I feel a little easter weight gain has creeped up on me. This makes me sad. But I know, I go back to London soon & my routine kicks back in in less than two weeks and I will soon find my way back to optimal health. (YAY)
However, it has got me thinking that in the future, to be who I want to be and have the lifestyle I desire to have, I have to be a busy lady with a job that keeps me happy and motivated, or else I WILL become an ugly lazy so and so. Which is NOT what I want in life.

Anyway, the point of this post is to inspire you (and myself) with some motivational quotes, pictures and possibly even a video...I'll see what I find.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

Miley Cyrus is so inspiring at the moment. She's running, walking, doing pilates all the time! And it's showing in her amazingly slim and toned body. She is a definite inspiration to me at the moment to be very healthy. She promotes a good healthy body image I think.

As I am a dancer, I am always inspired by dance photography. Dancers are so motivated & like to push themselves to get results. I have recently been practising this ^ and although I haven't quite got to her standard, I think I could get there if I keep pushing myself.

yes, this is my attempt!

Miranda Kerr, purely because her body (although I'm sure a lot of it is down to genes) she must work very hard to maintain a lean, curvy, beautiful body like this one!

Demi Lovato is an inspiration to me at the moment because she has recently come out to the world about her eating and self harming issues. She has been receiving help for it but at the same time, inspiring many others to get help and speak up about their own issues. So inspirational to me. Also she is motivating because she must work so hard every day to fight the demons, trust me that's work in itself.

Victoria Secret models...well their bodies just reflect hard work and motivation. Some may say unrealistic, I disagree. But I will say they have tons of help, nutritionists, trainers and advice soooo it isn't something to aspire to be as such, more just to admire!

Sorry if this doesn't inspire you...if it doesn't though...think about what motivates you in life?

Vanity

Inspired me

So at the moment, I think Miley is looking beautiful. She seems to be getting everything right. Her fashion, style, hair and body. Honestly I'm inspired! I especially love this photo, it's naturally wonderful.
Black and white photos are so classically beautiful. I wish to buy a camera, a better one than I have right now, so I can go ahead and take lots of lovely black and white photos of people in their natural states. Makes me excited - just the thought!

Who's inspiring you at the moment?

Sweet life

I am spending my Sunday baking, eating, coffee drinking & present wrapping. How delightful!

I collect mugs. Yes I'm THAT cool.

I have made two cakes already. One beautiful victoria sponge for my mothers birthday tomorrow then a small sugar-free, wholemeal flour cake for me! I am filling the both of them with fruit, jam and maybe a little buttercream!

Life is too short to not enjoy cake!

Elle Fanning looking sweet.

Whats your favourite cake?

It may take your all

Good afternoon beautiful people.
It's a Friday, I'm motivated, got a new jumper on and I've taken time to make my spotty face (annoying) look semi-presentable! I also have my fave girl coming over to share sushi & wine tonight, so obviously everything will be great today.

The only thing that's puzzling me is the ridic hype about the petrol. I haven't got any & I'm not worrying...ok maybe I should be now?! But, whatevs! It's not the end of the world!! Am I being too chilled about this?!
I also have my mommas birthday coming up so that gives me a massive excuse to bake a wonderful victoria sponge with lots of yummy strawberries & raspberries!! Weekend full of fun I guess!

Miley Cyrus - W.O.W doesn't she look stunning? I love the dress, hair & make-up. This look really suits her. She's slimmed down, not too much though, so she's beautifully curvy and petite! Plus she's dating the gorgeous, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth!!
 I'm green eyed!!

Just how beautiful is Olivia Palermo!! I'm not overly keen on the dress or the shoes but I adore her hair and make-up. I wish I had legs like hers!
