Big Smoke

Considering I'll be back in London in less than a month, I best get myself sorted. Got a lot of planning to do, house searching, money making and tick lists to complete! First off, location! Deciding on location is pretty damn hard, especially when your poor. All I'm asking for is a lovely 2 bedroom flat, spacious, clean, nice bathroom and kitchen, with a large living space and maybe parking ... is this too much to ask with £10 per month?! Just kidding. Well not about what would be ideal, as that would be perfect. However, I do require a safe area too, preferably in lovely west london with a balcony and pretty views, oh and close to a Wholefoods...OK now I'm definitely dreaming! Basically, what I want and what I can afford are obviously on two completely different scales, so I best get my thinking cap on (realistic one on too!) and get looking! Any wonderful suggestions??

So today I'm gyming it, that is once I've done everything else on my to-do list! I'm going to focus on upper body - chest, back and arms. Will fill you all in with my exercise routine in another post as considering I'm now a qualified personal trainer, I am definitely going to be posting more on exercise, health, nutrition and fitness! Just been sat here this morning reading the April issue of Health & Fitness, it's a really great read actually. This issue I really enjoyed - especially page 10 'Are We Too Vain?' article. It basically talks about the reasons people exercise and possibly that a lot of us begin exercise or do it for aesthetic reasons only. But, by changing the way you view exercise - you should see many more health benefits and gains, plus you're much more likely to stick with your exercise plans for life rather than as a short term fad. A little something, something to think about hey!

Enjoy your day

Kiss from me to you

Red lips at the ready. I'm so prepared for anything when I feel this good.
Off to register at my local library, write a CV, do my yummy food shopping (on a damn budget that is) and possibly go to a workout class for good measure, if not maybe just a nice stroll with a book I have gotten out from the library!

As I have just finished my year at East 15 Acting school in London, I am now looking for jobs to do with television, film, extra work, a runner and also any auditions - if anyone has any connections with agents or television crews/casting directors or even just ideas and tips on how to go about it, please let me know, I'd really really appreciate it. London based by the way. Thank-you so much!

P.s. get in touch if you are actors in London, I'd love to hear about your experiences in the business so far!!

Big love, Jessica

Everythings OK

It's a lazy Saturday. I feel good. Still in PJ's. Coffee in hand. Life is good.

I've also seen something today that has opened my eyes a little. And it made me feel good. I am one lucky girl with fantastic friends. I hope my friends know how much I'd do for them. I'd give them my life.

Living in London is too much fun. (I know I don't suit red...It wasn't my colour preference)

I love having visitors in London but I've also realised I have some incredible friends here now too. I am slowly building a life in London, and trust me it's a good one! There's never a dull moment in the big smoke.

My beautiful girls. Loving my leopard print dress. Every girl should own a little leopard print!

Listen to this it will make you smile. I hope!

I'm not a fan of the cheesy dancing and faces but other than that, these lot are very talented!

Naked and Famous

Happy St.George's Day all...It's a Monday, the sun is shining and I'm holding on to the hope that this week will be sunny, smiley and lots of fun!

I spent my evening drooling over all the items I wish to order from Nasty Gal. Yet I don't think spending £400 on clothes right now is quite plausible. Although part of me would argue otherwise...fashion does demand my purse and the giving up of more important things...like bills and food! But I don't really have the money to spend right now. So all is on my wish list instead! Although I may order some new sunnies... The House Of Harlow Chelsea Shades in Leopard as they are just to die for!

How incredible? Nasty Gal is my new favourite online shop...Check it out here

Anyway, as usual I've woken up to a large mug of coffee and a few episodes of 90210 first season. Living the life. I have dance this evening, back in London town. I'm ready to work my tired ass off, it's been far too long and I can feel the affects already! It's April, nearing May and I want to start booking holidays and festivals, sorting summer out and getting a bod worth flaunting on the beach. Wish me luck.

Unlucky

So it's Friday the 13th. I'm freaking out.
Not only is it a scary/unlucky day, but for me potentially even worse...I broke a mirror yesterday. Yes, you read it correctly...I broke a mirror. That's what? 7 years bad luck? As if I need that!!
So I'm treading on thin ice today, so nervous that I'll be hit by lightening or chased by a bull or maybe even poisoned by my seemingly nice housemates...Right now I believe anything could happen!

I've decided a nice calm yoga class in central london may help the nerves finished off with a quick trip to Portobello Road for a bit of fashion stalking and then off to Wholefoods Market for dinner. I'm not sure who I think I am, but to hell with it, my student loan comes in Monday so I'll treat myself.

I shall report back later my lovelies.

What's your Friday plan?
Wish me luck. Please. I need it.

Silver

Morning everyone.
I hope life is treating you well and easter is filled with lots of family-filled fun! Mine definitely is...some would say TOO much! My family are all about the overindulging at get togethers and my oh my my tummy is paying for it!

I have been charity shop shopping this weekend and bought a few films. I love adding to my film and book collection, especially when it means giving to charity! I bought 101 Dalmations, Chocolat and the 90210 Season 1 box set (with a missing disc!). However, with the other 6 discs I have been since watching the first season and getting once again obsessed! I LOVED 90210 first season but completely forgot what happened...so it's been a treat to re-live it all.
I adore Erin Silvers character played by Jessica Stroup in the first season. She's so cool, plus she's so beautiful...I much prefer her with her longer hair.

I love this dress, it's from American Apparel. I have it in green but I quite like the silver one!

Who remembers this advert coming on E4 and thinking Oh My God I NEED to watch this!?!?

As it has been family get togethers this weekend I've also done a lot of baking and cooking! I made a yummy fish pie with my mummy and then I baked a delish sticky toffee pudding filled with lots of medjool dates (my fave!). It went down a treat!

I am so excited about next week as I go back to lovely London! I have missed the wonders of the capital, the treats at Wholefoods and my vigorous classes at Pineapple Dance Studios! Plus the fashions of london, it's so magical to style stalk in town...people are so adventurous and daring - and I love that! Nothing like a bit of a fashion show while coffee-ing in Covent Garden!

I hope everyone is having a lovely easter!

What are you missing right now?
