I have a lot. They are all beautiful, wonderful & supportive. Many girls with one boy. The one boy is a model so at least he understands us girls now...a little more anyway.
It's a Friday, I'm motivated, got a new jumper on and I've taken time to make my spotty face (annoying) look semi-presentable! I also have my fave girl coming over to share sushi & wine tonight, so obviously everything will be great today.
The only thing that's puzzling me is the ridic hype about the petrol. I haven't got any & I'm not worrying...ok maybe I should be now?! But, whatevs! It's not the end of the world!! Am I being too chilled about this?!
I also have my mommas birthday coming up so that gives me a massive excuse to bake a wonderful victoria sponge with lots of yummy strawberries & raspberries!! Weekend full of fun I guess!
Miley Cyrus - W.O.W doesn't she look stunning? I love the dress, hair & make-up. This look really suits her. She's slimmed down, not too much though, so she's beautifully curvy and petite! Plus she's dating the gorgeous, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth!!
I'm green eyed!!
Just how beautiful is Olivia Palermo!! I'm not overly keen on the dress or the shoes but I adore her hair and make-up. I wish I had legs like hers!
So it seems a little silly as I am 21 (technically 'grown up') however, my head still functions as if I'm a child so I still answer this question as if I am 12.
When I 'grow up' I want to act in films and television dramas and on the stage as I love to dance and sing in musicals also!
Preferably in performances of Spring Awakening, We Will Rock You, Matilda, Hairspray and Little Shop of Horrors.
Then in films similar to characters that Dakota Fanning or Kate Winslet plays.
Day 9 : Favourite Book
Well, people may hate me for it, but I was a lover of Twilight!
But I have many other favourite books such as Nineteen Minutes, The Pact, and The Lovely Bones.
Morning all. I hope everyone is well and happy. I have woken up, had a beautiful bowl of oatmeal and PB and lots of dried fruit. I am sat here in bed reading the April Elle UK and drinking coffee. Life is bliss, I must remind myself this.
I had one of my best friends 21st birthday yesterday. We had a brilliant time, I do hope she loved her presents & party! Lizzie & I bought her some beautiful Thomas Sabo earrings
And we also created a big bag of pick & mix sweets for her, choosing only her favourites. They looked so good I was tempted to get some myself. But I go to the cinema tomorrow so I saved myself!!
Lizzie (left) and myself at Leahs 21st at Gustos.
I've also spent my morning drooling over all the incredible new films coming out. It's making me terribly excited yet very envious that I'm still not in one! One day I will be...got to be positive!!
I've decided to create some morning affirmations which I shall say to myself each day:
Every day in every way I will be happy.
Every day in every way I will be healthy.
Every day in every way I will find some enjoyment & laughter.
Every day in every way I will make my dream a reality.
Snow White and the Huntsman looks magical. My oh my I'm excited about this one! Bring on June 1st!!!
As I love Tim Burtons style and I am in fact in love with Mr. Johnny Depp - I expect this film to be brilliantly funny and creative! Oh and the cast is just lovely!!
And last but definitely not least, I am desperate to see Now Is Good starring one of my all time favourite young actresses Dakota Fanning. This trailer makes me cry so I can't even imagine what the film will do to me! I find Dakota fantastical to watch on screen. Everything she's ever done, she's done well. And I'm proud to say, although she's younger than me, she is one of my idols.
That's right! On Wednesday I shall be using the wonderful 2-4-1 Orange deal to go and see The Hunger Games!! I'm very excited about this. I've heard great things about Jennifer Lawrence & I think Liam Hemsworth is very tasty. So it's already a winner!
Plus I shall treat myself to a large bag of pick & mix.
Although, a big part of me is very tempted to buy the book tomorrow and get reading as I feel like I'm lazy not reading it before watching it. Especially because I usually read the books before...
So I've spent my morning listening to Ellen Degeneres on her Seriously I'm Kidding audiobook! It's brilliant. I'm a massive fan of hers anyway, but even if you aren't I'd still try and persuade you to buy it! She's so positive and encouraging.
I've recently 'failed' at something and I'm personally very affected by my failures. But having listened to Ellen talk about her career failures over the years then talk about her success at this moment in time, she inspires me to keep going with my dreams and goals.
“It's failure that gives you the proper perspective on success.”
― Ellen DeGeneres, Seriously...I'm Kidding
An amazing read/listen. Buy it now. You'll not regret it.
If I was to take this literally, I would go with somewhere beautiful, peaceful and inspiring such as the streets of a greek island or on a beach in Koh Tao. However, I could also say Home. But more importantly, for me...it isn't where you are that makes it my favourite place, it's who you are with. I am a people person. I love to have my alone time, but friends make my world. Therefore friends make my favourite places, my favourite places!
Day 6 : Favourite Drink
Non-alcoholic - coffee
Alcoholic - espresso martini
Day 7 : Favourite Movie
Ok. This is a question I usually dodge. I hate it. There's way too many. All the movies I own are my favourites, or else I wouldn't own them!
If I were to pick a select few I would say:
The Virgin Suicides
The Parent Trap
Matilda
Madeline
Stepmom
The Little Mermaid
Finding Nemo
Man On Fire
Girl, Interrupted
Uptown Girls
...Ok I said a select few...
(already getting carried away!!)
Basically, I love films. I love all kinds of films. From disney to horror, period drama to psychological - I love them all!!!
But more to the point I love Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
It saddens me that I can not order anything from StyleMint due to the fact they only deliver to the U.S and Canada. Boo Hoo. One day, perhaps!
I still spend a lot of time admiring the range & filling my cart with lots of lovely tops that I know I can't even have. Stupid really! I clearly like to tease myself!
But anyway, March T Moment is about & I love the video...enjoy. And if you are from the US or Canada...I am extremely envious of you!!
(favourite T so far would have be 'No is a full sentence' T-shirt)
How can you not love these two wonderful beings?
You'll begin to learn that they literally are an obsession of mine...No word of a lie.
I went to see Matilda the Musical in London at the Cambridge Theatre on Thursday. Speechless.
Kerry Ingram played Matilda that night. She was the most talented young girl I've ever seen on stage. Her stage presence was incredibly mature, yet her youth and naivety shone through you were always aware of her true age. I want to see it again and again because it's fantastic! The music, the cast, the set ... everything was magical!
I want to achieve my career goals : become an actress, have been in successful films, on television and on the stage.
To be as cool as Mary-Kate Olsen, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss. (also to be as skinny as them)
To have been to drama school, kept a blog going, fall in love, have children, get married, work with incredible directors, be silly, learn from my mistakes, buy a house, decorate it (many a times), eat without a care in the world, improve my singing, become the best dancer I can be, watch more films, work with robert pattinson (have sex with robert pattinson), be in Spring Awakening, eat meat again, make more friends, travel the world, find inner peace...The list is endless, I promise.
So far I have achieved nothing but sticking magazines articles and photographs all over my new room, procrastinating and listening to a lot of Ben Howard and Phoebe Ray.
I need to do more. But before I do...I have also wasted my day away on Tumblr, as this is one of my cheeky places to be inspired and influenced by the good and the bad.
But anyway, while on it I found lots of beautiful pictures of two of my favourite models : Frida Gustavsson and Abbey-Lee Kershaw.
Posting them here for inspiration. Don't know of them? Look them up, you'll be happy you did.
